Gabriel Chalut

Coach · HAX Athletic Club - Windsor, Ontario

Gabe is one of North America's most accomplished amateur triathletes. A five-time Ironman 70.3 World Championship qualifier, he has claimed two Ironman 70.3 amateur victories and earned multiple podium finishes competing at the elite amateur level. With over twenty Ironman 70.3 events completed across five years of racing, and a 5K personal best of 15:29, Gabe brings a rare combination of speed, endurance, and hard-won race experience to every athlete he works with.

His coaching spans the full spectrum of endurance sport, from strength work to 5K races to 100-mile ultramarathons, sprint triathlons to full Ironman events, with four years of experience developing athletes across disciplines and distances. Having trained and raced across Texas, California, Utah, Australia, and parts of Europe, Gabe brings a global perspective shaped by immersion in some of the world's most competitive training environments.

"My number one principle is consistency above all else. The best training plan is the one you can actually follow, sustainably, over time. I don't believe in rigid plans that ignore the realities of your life. I believe in building something around you: your goals, your schedule, your strengths, and the things that make the process enjoyable. Training should enhance your life, not take away from it. When those pieces are in place, the results follow."
